H.M. Cragg Offers ‘Six Strategies to Keep Your Spring “Power Up” During Storm Season’
H.M. Cragg Co. provides companies with smart, cost-effective strategies to maintain power during the upcoming storm season via battery maintenance, surge protection and Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS).

Power outages due to the electrical spikes and surges that result from lightening storms can lead to significant financial losses for businesses. Specifically, they can cause any of the following systems to go down:
computers - productivity and revenue is lost when computers crash unexpectedly
phones - customer service stops and orders are lost when phones are dead
point of sale - when a company can’t process a sale, revenue is directly impacted
database - when prospect information is corrupted or lost and can’t be accessed, the sales cycle can be delayed
Boston, MA, April 7, 2006 – http://www.toprankresults.com – Search marketing expert, Lee Odden, President of TopRank Online Marketing, will be speaking at the upcoming WebmasterWorld Pubcon conference in Boston, April 18 – 20, 2006.
Odden will outline how the integration of online public relations tactics with blog marketing and search engine optimization can deliver a distinct advantage to marketers who desire to build high brand awareness and increased sales online.
Traditional public relations initiatives can improve results significantly by leveraging online exposure opportunities. For example, many pitching efforts are lacking impact because they don’t take into account the fact that press releases are documents that can get indexed and ranked by search engines. Press releases that are optimized effectively can improve media coverage and also assist search engine rankings.
Business blogs can be very effective tools for communicating with prospects, clients and journalists. Blogs are also inherently search engine friendly and when properly optimized, can provide a significant boost to a web site’s search engine rankings.
“Companies can gain a competitive marketing advantage by integrating search engine optimization with tactics such as press releases and blog marketing,” said Lee Odden. “The marketing synergy created by integrating SEO, blogs and press release optimization provides a tremendous advantage over traditional PR by itself.”
