Software-as-a-Service Provider Integrates its Offerings for Improved Supply Chain Communications

SAN MATEO, Calif. and MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Dec. 11, 2007 – SPS Commerce today announced that it has become a member of NetSuite’s® SuiteFlex SM Developer Program. By integrating NetSuite’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ERP solution and outsourced SaaS Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services from SPS Commerce, suppliers can seamlessly communicate order, inventory and shipment information from NetSuite through SPS Commerce to their trading and supply chain partners such as third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and sourcing companies.

As a member of NetSuite’s program, SPS Commerce plans to extend NetSuite’s One System Architecture with new capabilities to meet the needs of suppliers requiring EDI connections to the SPS Commerce network of more than 1,200 retailers and grocers. The SuiteFlex Development platform allows third-party applications to integrate transaction data – orders, inventory, invoices and shipments – with their applications, and enable customers and third-party developers to build new workflows and applications that can look and operate as if NetSuite’s own developers wrote them.


National Arbitration Forum Honors Excellence in Promoting Dispute Resolution and Civil Justice

Honorable Harold Kalina Receives Civil Justice Award

MINNEAPOLIS, December 5, 2007—The National Arbitration Forum (FORUM) presented the organization’s inaugural “Civil Justice Award” to Honorable Harold Kalina, for whom the award will be named, on December 1, 2007.

Upon presenting the award, Roger Haydock, Managing Director of the National Arbitration Forum stated “Judge Kalina has ennobled and improved dispute resolution and civil justice during his distinguished career as a District Court Judge, a Minnesota State Senator, practicing attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and all-around dispute resolution professional.”

Honorable Harold Kalina, a graduate of the University of Minnesota law school, began his career at Scholle, Schweiger & Kalina in Minneapolis where he practiced law from 1954 to 1972 and was a partner. He served as a Minnesota State Senator for four terms from 1955 to 1971 and as an Assistant Minority Leader for the Senate from 1971 to 1972.

In 1972 he began his term as Judge of the Hennepin County District Court, Fourth Judicial District, Minnesota. In 1981 Kalina became Chief Judge of the Fourth Judicial District. He was Partner at Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly in Minneapolis from 1983 to 1990. He then returned to the bench as a Fourth Judicial District Court Judge from 1990 to 1995.


NEXCOM Outsources EDI Enablement Program Targeting 1300+ Vendors to SPS Commerce

Retailer to Increase Visibility to In-Transit Inventory and Streamline Receiving

Minneapolis, Minn., Dec. 4, 2007 – SPS Commerce, a leading trading partner integration center offering fully outsourced Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Catalog functions, announced today that The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) has selected SPS Commerce’s outsourced vendor enablement service. SPS’ enablement program will expand the number of transactions electronically exchanged between NEXCOM and its EDI-enabled vendors, who represent 83 percent of NEXCOM’s volume. With SPS’ assistance, NEXCOM’s vendors will be adding the advance ship notice (ASN) and bar code labels by year-end to offer visibility to in-transit inventory and streamline receiving at NEXCOM’s distribution centers and stores. The enablement program was launched on June 14, 2007, with a webcast to NEXCOM’s vendors announcing the program details.

This program is the next step in NEXCOM’s supply chain strategy. By integrating a growing number of business transactions with its vendors, NEXCOM can experience efficiencies throughout the supply chain, and be prepared for its Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation. NEXCOM has 328 retail locations and 13 distribution centers worldwide. The retailer offers more than 200k items including hard-lines, consumables, softlines and services for authorized patrons through its retail stores.
