Offers Complimentary Package Seal Integrity Test at MD&M West 2005

Anaheim, CA, December 16, 2004 - http://www.testedandproven.com - DDL Inc. testing services, a MN-based package, product & material testing laboratory, is offering complimentary package seal integrity testing at the upcoming MD&M West tradeshow in Anaheim, CA.

To demonstrate package integrity, DDL will be conducting complimentary bubble leak testing at booth #2248.

“Medical device manufacturers and packaging professionals need to feel comfortable that their flexible packaging possess zero gross surface leaks,” said Patrick J. Nolan, coo of DDL Inc. “The bubble leak test method is one of the best ways to prove package integrity.”

Bubble leak testing is used to test flexible packages for leaks by filling each package with liquid until it is fully pressurized. This pressure is held for a pre-determined amount of time at which point the package is inspected visually to locate leaks.

MD&M West attendees are invited to bring a flexible medical device package to booth #2248 where DDL will test its seal integrity using the bubble leak method.
