Watermark Learning Expands Use Case Modeling Course

March 2nd, 2004

Helps Businesses Streamline Product, Services and Software Development

Edina, MN March 2, 2004 - Watermark Learning, a leading project management and requirements analysis training company, today announced an expanded Use Case Modeling course designed to offer business analysts, project managers and systems analysts better techniques for understanding and capturing business requirements necessary to develop new products, services and software.

The expanded Use Case Modeling course, from Watermark Learning, provides a framework for understanding and modeling effective use cases designed to better facilitate communication between analysts and business customers.

“We’ve found that by expanding to a two day hands-on course, in which we increase the amount of team exercises, that the concepts are learned much more quickly,” said Elizabeth Larson, Watermark Learning Principal. “Assimilating Use Case concepts more quickly in the classroom means more effective product and service development in the workplace.”

In the course, Watermark Learning defines the use case model, describes the two components of that model, and overviews a four-step process for developing use case models. Class participants will develop complete Use Case diagrams using Unified Modeling Language (UML).
